—Gold in the Sunset
During my trip to California last week to visit all of my best friends, I saw the most beautiful sunset of my life. I did not have my camera or my phone with me for photos because I was afraid of what would happen near the water, but this song describes it perfectly. The sun was making everything around me shimmer like gold. Once the sun set, the new moon made for a beautifully bright night. It was fantastic. Listening to the ocean as I fell asleep in my tent was incredibly soothing. When we woke to find dozens of starfish clinging to the rocks along the crashing waves, it was the perfect end to an amazing trip.
Sun+ocean+sky+friends=all i really need.

I have an obsession with owls. If you know me, you know this. My grandmother always collected owls, and still does, and we always had a very close connection. I think the owl represents that bond we have together. That- they are wise, and they look awesome!
I think the most unhealthy thing for a human being is to feel that they have to behave in a certain way because other people expect them to behave like that, or to feel they have to think in a certain way because what happens then is basically your mind goes round in circles.
